Southern Ontario will be Covered in Snow and Experience Temperatures as low as -10 C this Week
Rain and snow are expected to begin in the morning, continuing into the afternoon, today. Despite a chilly morning, wind speeds are expected to reach 15 km/h.
During the morning, wind chill values will range from -7 C to -9 C before daytime temperatures climb above freezing up to 2 C.
Patchy freezing rains or freezing drizzles could develop by the afternoon, making travel hazardous.
Throughout the evening, there will be cloudy skies with periods of rain and snow. Fog patches develop around midnight and linger into the morning as temperatures remain steady at 2 C through the night.
Despite cloudy skies on Monday, the week is off to a great start. Winds will gust to 40 km/h from the southeast as fog patches clear during the morning.
Early morning and early afternoon drizzles are expected, followed by periods of rain in the late afternoon. It’ll be the warmest day of the week with high temperatures reaching 7 C during the daytime.

Cloudy skies are expected to continue on Tuesday, with light rain possible. A high of 4 C is forecast along with a 40% chance of showers during the day. Temperatures drop to 1 C overnight as skies remain cloudy.
Cloudy skies with a 30% chance of flurries will prevail on Wednesday, with a high of 4 C. After dark, skies will clear slightly with temperatures plummeting to -6 C.
Temperatures will be colder on Thursday due to a mix of sunshine and clouds. In the evening, the sky will turn cloudy again, with lows at -6 C.
Flurries are more likely to occur on Friday, according to Environment Canada. Flurries are likely during the day and evening, with cloudy skies dominating. Temperatures will reach -2 C in the afternoon, and -6 C in the evening.
It will be partly sunny and partly cloudy on Saturday with a 40% chance of snow. High temperatures will be -6 degrees C during the day and -10 degrees C during the evening.
